The theme and its story: Panch Tatva

The five people who we see in the front are known as the Panch Tatwa. They incarnated on Earth in the late 15th century and are believed to be the five features or manifestations of Lord Krishna. They are:

Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu (centre) is Krishna Himself manifested as a devotee

Nityananda Prabhu (Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s right) is Krishna's first personal expansion with a combined power of Balarama

Advaita Acharya (extreme left) is the combined incarnation of Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva

Gadadhara Pandit (Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s left) is a combined incarnation of Radha, Lalita (gopi) and Krishna's internal devotional energy

Srivasa Thakura (extreme right) is Krishna's pure devotee and symbolizes devotion

Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu was always accompanied by these five associates who famously spread the Hare Krishna mantra, and the practice of devotion (bhakti) to Krishna throughout India.

Spiritually, all five tatvas or diverse manifestations are the same. They are manifested diversely as different rasas for the sake of relishing transcendental relationships. The whole process of devotional service involves reciprocation in the relationship between the worshiper and the worshiped. A diverse exchange of transcendental flavors is necessary for devotional service to have meaning.
