As we are made up of the five elements of nature or the Panchamahabhuta, which are Earth (Bhumi), Water (Jala), Fire (Agni), Air (Vayu) and Space (Aakash), so also these figurines are made from the same five elements in their most elemental form:
The basic material is clay, which is Earth in its most basic form
Water is used for kneading clay
Fire is used during the firing process
Air is used during the drying process
And finally each figurine takes form in Space.
The same process of creation evident in Nature involving the Panchamahabhuta is replicated in the figurines as they emerge in the purest and most natural form that could ever be. Furthermore the devotion with which they are made, coupled with the devotion you infuse them with, they would take a divine form forever blessing those who worship them.
In many ways, having used the Panchamahabhuta elements, the creation is as complete and absolute as any of Nature’s creations. It is a creation that stands out on its own and exists for the sheer joy of existence as any aspect of Nature would.
